Jones, Patricia A.
Patricia A. Jones, 72, of Columbus City, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Patricia Ann Jones was born July 4, 1939, to Rex and Helen (Fowler) Todd in Columbus City. She was united in marriage to Donald Burdette Jones on Jan. 21, 1963, in Kahoka, Mo. He passed away in 1990.
Pat enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, cooking, and gardening, especially pulling weeds.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara (Jim) Ray of Cedar Rapids and Pam (Dusty) Buffington of Columbus Junction; siblings, Rexford (Cheryl) Todd and Christine (Bill) Hedrick, both of Columbus City, and Ernie (Becky) Todd of Iowa City; three grandchildren, Abigail Ray, Emily Ray and Hunter Buffington; sister-in-law, Pauline (Floyd) Richardson of Crawfordsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and will be donated in her memory to Hospice of Washington County.
