Jones, Jolene Carol
Jolene Carol Jones, 55, died Sunday May 2, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, after a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 17, 1954, and lived most of her life in Cedar Rapids. Jolene volunteered in the library at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie P. Jones of Meth-Wick Manor; a sister, Linda (Clair) Scott of Saddlebrooke, Ariz.; nieces, Tracy Spicer and Beth Estrada, both of Cedar Rapids, and Sheri Dvorak of Bettendorf; very special cousins, Shirlene Heston, Lee Pratt, Patti Mathern and Bill Weeks; and precious friends, Bob and Signe Munson, Stacey Friauf and the Marilyn Dorrance family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester O. Jones; a sister, Janet Sue Jones; and a nephew, Jeff Winter.
There will be no service. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Mercy Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice.
