Jones, Duane
Duane Jones, 81, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at the Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids. Per Richard's wishes, his body has been cremated. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept., 25, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in Woodston, Kan. Graveside services will be held in the Ash Rock Cemetery following the luncheon.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann; daughter Cathy (Mike) Kvasager of Bonney Lake, Wash.; 3 sons, Ronald (Helen) Gibbens of Grand Forks, N.D., Bob (Amy) Gibbens of Beloit, Kan., and Mike (Michele) Jones of Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Kenneth Jones of Kirwin, Kan., and Dale Jones of Stockton Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
