Jones, Charles Robert 'Rob' 'Charlie'
Charles Robert “Rob” “Charlie” Jones, 54, of Coggon, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Lesa; his mother, Lorraine (stepfather, E.J. “Al”) Remington; his daughter, Katie Jones; his stepson, Chris (Addy) Leistikow; sister, Fae (Lynn) Johnson; brother, Lonnie Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
Charles was born Dec. 30, 1958, the son of Robert and Lorraine (Kirby) Jones in Monticello. He graduated from Marion High School. On Aug. 24, 2007, he married Lesa Anderson at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids. Charles worked at Lucas Farms in Central City.
Charles enjoyed gardening and was a Harley enthusiast.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Charles.
