Johnson, Donna Lee

Donna Lee Johnson, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Graveside service: noon Saturday, Dec. 7, at Williams Cemetery, Williams, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Doug (Lisa) Johnson of Cedar Rapids and Kim (Joe) Moody of Woonsocket, S.D.; grandchildren, Allie, Bradley and Lauren Johnson, Jessica Dunlap and Ariana Jaenisch; one great-grandson, Dakota Grchan; and siblings, Ronald (Joann) Riley and Mary Ann Overton, both of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Johnson.

Donna was born Dec. 14, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Ronald and Vera (Blackford) Riley. On Feb. 14, 1961, she married Robert Johnson in Des Moines. He later passed in August 2012. Donna loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She also enjoyed cooking and reading.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will go to breast cancer research.
