Johnson, Bonnie J.
Bonnie J. Johnson, 84, of Marion, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Per Bonnie's request, there will be no services or visitation. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Amos “Dean” Johnson; two sons, Allen (Lisa) Johnson of Cedar Rapids, and Jeff (Vickie) Johnson of Marion; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Stark of California.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
Bonnie was born March 1, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Walter and Letha (Schnepp) Fowler. She was united in marriage to Amos Dean Johnson on Feb. 5, 1946, in Marion. Bonnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion.
