John R. Yonkovic, 68, of Fairbank, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at his home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fairbank, with burial at Fairbank Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at White Funeral Home, 1315 Main St., Jesup, and for one hour before services Saturday at the church. John was born Jan. 11, 1948, the son of Joseph Roy Yonkovic and Lucille Mae (Chapman) Yonkovic.
He is survived by his wife, Deb Yonkovic of Fairbank; three daughters, Laurie (Kenny) Isaac of Marion, Marcia Yonkovic of Monticello and Brenda (Ron) Sadler of Jesup; three sons, Pat (Lisa) Yonkovic of Hopkinton, Russell (Nikki) Yonkovic of Monticello and John (Stephanie) Yonkovic Jr. of Independence; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six sisters, Joanne (Bill) Dingbaum of Hopkinton, Nina Kray, Rosie Dirks, Deb (Daryl) Porter and Janet (Ted) McDonell, all of Monticello, and Sherry Schonberg of Marion; two brothers, Raymond (Karene) Yonkovic of Lisbon and Tony Yonkovic of Hopkinton; and a sister-in-law, Patty Heller of Monticello.
His parents and one brother, Russell, preceded him in death.
