JOHN WILLIAM LEIDIGH

Goodyear, Ariz.

John William Leidigh, 52, of Goodyear, Ariz., passed away April 20, 2022, from complications of a stroke. A small private Celebration of Life will be held in Scottsdale in May and another Celebration of Life in Cedar Rapids in June. The dates are still being finalized.

John was born Nov. 23, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the fourth child of Russ and Judy Leidigh. John was active in sports growing up, including football, wrestling and track. He had a passion for the Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Indy car racing. John also loved to play cards.

John spent the majority of his career in the car business as a salesman and sales manager. He was known to treat his customers with excellent service and had many great reviews by people who bought from him.

Survivors include his children, Morgann, John-John and Anthony Leidigh. His kids were by his side in his final days along with his mom, dad, and brothers, Tim and Tom.

John was a loving father, son, and brother. His heart was huge. John truly cared about people and was always willing to help those who needed it. He spent the last couple years caring for his parents during the pandemic. He cooked, cleaned and was a remarkable caregiver during this time. We will miss John greatly.
