John William Wiley, 79, of Greeley, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Survivors include five daughters, Barb (George) Bockenstedt of Center Point, Karen (Allan) Wielert of Iowa City, Donna Phipps of New London, Beth Wiley of Eldridge and Jill (Sean) Olson of Alexandria, Va.; three sons, Mark (Linda) Wiley of Manchester, Nick (Lori) Wiley of Denver, Iowa, and Dave (Barbara) Wiley of Huber Heights, Ohio; one son-in-law, Wayne (DeeAnn) McGlaughlin of Monona; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank (Lois) Wiley of Tucson, Ariz.
John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kate, in 2002; and three daughters, Joan Wiley-McGlaughlin, and Susan and Pamela Wiley, in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Greeley Volunteer Fire Department or American Cancer Society.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Edgewood, by the Rev. John Haugen. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call one hour before Mass at the church on Monday. Interment with military rites: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Greeley.
