John Charles Stoklasa, 64, of Manchester, passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017.
He was born June 26, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Frank and Betty Ann (Blecher) Stoklasa Jr. John graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School in 1971.
On May 24, 1975, John was united in marriage to Cynthia "Cyndi" Culbertson. After their marriage, they settled in the Delhi area, where John was a self-employed carpenter.
John loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cyndi Stoklasa of Manchester; his daughter, Janise (Clayton) Daylin of Fort Collins, Colo.; two grandchildren, Willow and Rowan Daylin; his mother, Betty Ann Stoklasa of Marion; and two siblings, Dave (Kaye) Stoklasa of Cedar Rapids and Ann (Fred) Grabau of Chesterfield, Mo.
John was preceded in death by his father, Frank Stoklasa Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Victoria Stoklasa; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Blecher.
