JOHN STERN JR.
Hiawatha
John Earl Stern Jr. of Hiawatha, Iowa, went be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at St, Luke's Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
John was born Dec. 27, 1966, in California, the son of John Stern Sr. and Ellen Coleman. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy. He loved to fish, ride his bike and he loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include his mother, Ellen (Lee "Butch") Coleman; his son, Johnnie Stern; and daughter, Heather Stern; two grandsons, Jermaine Harris and Jacob Stern; sisters, Shannon (Thomas) Thacker, Misty (Jeff) Elliff and Tia (Chris) Khort; five nephews and three nieces. John had his fur babies that he loved as well; they never left his side.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Earl Stern Sr.
