Funeral services for John Redfern, 79, of Jefferson, who died Feb. 22, 2014, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Central Christian Church in Jefferson. Cremation will follow the service. Interment at Jef-ferson Cemetery will take place at a later date. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home, Jefferson.
Memorials may be given in John's name to the family.
John was an Eastern Iowa operations manager for Iowa Electric Light & Power in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Redfern of Cedar Rapids; brothers, David (Linda) Redfern of Jefferson and Tom (Cindy) Redfern of Guthrie Center; sister, Mary Lou (Joe) Roth of Panora; sister-in-law, Linda Redfern of Osceola; and many nephews and nieces.
