John "Jack" Michael Owens, 59, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away after a long battle with leukemia, Friday, June 20, 2014, at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. Please note: Service location has changed from St. Ludmila Church to Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 27, at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Stasia Fine. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at the funeral home, followed by a rosary. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
