JOHN R. MCLURE

John R. McLure, 56, of Iowa City, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by family.
A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at North Liberty First United Methodist Church. Visitation to greet family and friends will be at 5 p.m. at the church before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed toward the John R. McLure Memorial Fund.
John Rankin McLure is survived by his wife, Kris; his son, John D. (JD) McLure; his mother, Gail T. McLure; his brother, David P. McLure and his wife, Karin; his nephew, Matthew McLure and his wife, Christine Hosey; and his niece, Amanda K. McLure.
He was preceded in death by his father, John William McLure.
