John Louis Selk, 43, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home after a fast-moving lung cancer diagnosis. A beloved son, brother, partner, and friend, John touched many lives with his warmth, humor, sincerity, and quiet strength.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton.
