John Louis "Louie" Walderbach, 72, of Ely, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a courageous battle with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church by the Rev. Mark Reasoner. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. A vigil will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may visit with the family following the vigil until 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
