John Edward Lehner, 67, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away on Oct. 24, 2023. He was born on April 26, 1956. No services will be held by his request.
John is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Kristian) Doerrfeld, his grandchildren Lennon and Jovella, his mother Mary Ann Lehner, his siblings Betsy (Brian) Evert, Bill Lehner, Greg (Mary) Lehner, and his nieces and nephews Terry Lehner, Abby (Tyler) Fannon, Rhianne Lehner, Samara Lehner, Matt (Leah) Lehner. He was also survived by his long-time partner Beverly Karrick and her son Keith Brooks.
He served in the Navy from 1975 to 1978. Throughout his career, John excelled as a salesman in many different jobs. In his free time, John enjoyed watching NASCAR and traveling with friends, playing poker, horseback riding, and had a special fondness for Christmas.

His humorous attitude and story telling will be dearly missed. Memories will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
