John Joseph (Joe) Woods, 75, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa. The family requests that casual attire be worn to the memorial service. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Lisbon Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in John’s name and may be directed to the family. Stewart Baxter Funeral and Memorial Services of Mount Vernon is assisting the family.
