JOHN "JAMIE" VINCENT KILPATRICK
Cedar Rapids
John "Jamie" Vincent Kilpatrick, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at the Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Barbara Kilpatrick; his son, Jerry Kilpatrick of West Amana; granddaughter, Crystella Kilpatrick of Atlanta, Ga.; six sisters, Ann Prentice, Mary Ellen Drew, Virginia Cook, Dorothy Lorraine Kilpatrick, Elaine Monnahan and Evelyn Seely; four brothers, Tom, Bill, Dale and Deryl Kilpatrick; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Greg and Robert; and sister, Linda Kilpatrick.
Jamie was born Nov. 29, 1935, in Waukon, the son of John and Mildred Mellick Kilpatrick. He was in the Army and served during the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post No. 788.
