John Francis Eagle, 63, of Delafield, Wis., formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wis., following a brief fight with cancer. Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at St. James Catholic Church, with Father David Brownfield officiating. Calling hours will begin 4 p.m. Monday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Prayer services will be 5:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
A general memorial has been established.

He is survived by his wife, Dee of Delafield, Wis.; son, Shannon Eagle of Wayland; daughter, Megan (Sean) Eaton of Waukesha, Wis.; grandchildren, Bodhi Eagle, Lucas Eaton and Ella Eaton; stepchildren, Michelle (Brad) Thomason of Marion, Racheal (Jody) Kleiber of Oxford, Ohio, and Bob Creamer of Ainsworth; stepgrandchildren, Avery and Erin Thomason, Stephanie, Brittany and Jacob Creamer; and two step-great-grandchildren, Rylan and Brooklyn Taylor. John also is survived by three sisters, Mary (Ed) Pulido of Davenport, Sue (Chuck) Holcomb of Johnston and Paulette (Everett) Jones of Bettendorf; two brothers, Steve (Fran) Eagle of Washington and Joe (Jeane) Eagle of Marion; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
