John Dane, 90, lifetime area farmer and businessman, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by his family.
Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at First United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Burial with military honors will be at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church. (Sunday parking ordinance will be in effect for the streets near the church for both Saturday and Sunday).
