John W. Cook, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monticello, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, where a parish vigil service will be at 2 p.m.
