JOHANNA (JENNIE) MINNIE LEICHSENRING
Amana
Johanna (Jennie) Minnie Leichsenring, 99, originally of South Amana, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Middle Amana Church with Elder Harold Pitz officiating. Burial will be in the South Amana Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed in care of Jennie to the Amana Church Society, P.O. Box 103, Amana, IA 52307. Kloster Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Johanna is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Alfred) Fratzke; and a granddaughter, Susan (Shane) Fratzke Brucker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; a brother, Herbert Reihman; and a sister-in-law, Doris.
