Jody "Joe" Hauskins, 63, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022. Per his request, only a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Joe was born on July 13, 1959, in Cedar Rapids. He married Lori L. Techau on May 10, 1986. They later divorced. He worked as an auto detailer and graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a welding certificate. Joe loved music, learning to play guitar and loved his family beyond comparison. His humorous nature and positivity were present through all of his health battles and even at the very end.
He is survived by ex-wife, Lori L. Hauskins; fiancee, Dana Myers; sons, Zachary and John; brother, Steve (Connie); sisters, Deb West, Julie Bean (twin sister to Joe) and Sue (Todd) Rizzio; nieces, Kristina (Chad) Canfield, Nichole (Adam) Ruth and Kelly (Chad) Siems; and nephew, John West.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Dunston Hauskins; father, Russell Hauskins; and niece, Shannon Bean.
