JOANNE (PIERCE) PARIZEK

Joanne (Pierce) Parizek, 81, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. Per Joanne's wishes, there will be private family services with no visitation. Joanne was a long-time member of the Cedar Hills Community Church. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, is handling the arrangements. Private entombment: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
Joanne is survived by her son, Rick (Louise) Parizek; daughter-in-law, Deb; brother, Warren; two grandchildren and spouses; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and two sisters.
A deep faith, a loving family and true friendships were an important part of her life, along with family get-togethers, baking, puzzles and shopping.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice House of Mercy.
