JOANNE MELSHA
Phoenix, Ariz.
JoAnne Melsha, 84, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
JoAnne was born on Aug. 18, 1933, the daughter of Paul and Julia Jerabeck. She graduated from UNI and became a schoolteacher. She married Robert Melsha on Dec. 25, 1955, and to this union three boys were born. She enjoyed wintering in Florida and spending time at the summer home in Guttenberg. JoAnne moved to Phoenix three years ago.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sr.; and her sons, Robert Jr. and Daniel.
Left to cherish JoAnne's memories are her son, Steven Melsha; grandson, Hunter Melsha; and granddaughter, Lexi Melsha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Discovery Village in JoAnne's honor.
