JoAnna Linscheid, 87, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at her home. JoAnna was born on July 5, 1935, in St. Joseph, Mo., a daughter of the late Bert O’Connor and Vena Edgington O’Connor.

JoAnna possessed a wide range of interests. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved to read, study genealogy and was a history buff. Music was also a big part of her life and along with her husband, Luane, they loved to sing for church services. She was a Bible Study Fellowship discussion group leader for several years.

JoAnna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Luane Roy Linscheid; one son, Kyle Linscheid (Joan) of Morgantown; three daughters, Cindy Arnold-Bik (Victor) of Lovettsville, Va., Sylvia Flaa (Jim) of Grey Eagle, Minn., and Jody Van Eijden (Marc) of Tours, France; grandchildren, Benjamin Arnold-Bik, Nicole Arnold-Bik, Anna Olson, Sam Flaa, Ruth Flaa, Mary Linscheid, Ellen Linscheid, Lillian Linscheid, Jan-Willem Van Eijden and Jack Van Eijden; and great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Arnold-Bik and William Arnold-Bik.

JoAnna was preceded in death by an infant daughter and brother, Keith O’Connor.

Private graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Beverly Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. McCulla Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcculla.com.
