JoAnn Darlene Fitzpatrick, 80, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 11, 1944, in Manchester, the daughter of Linus and Delores (Eike) Hoeger.

Survivors include her five children, Joe (Karla) Fitzpatrick of Toddville, Julie Fitzpatrick of Cedar Rapids, Mark (Sheri) Fitzpatrick of Greeley, Janet (Mike) Oldfather of Edgewood, and Kimberly (Brian) Snyder of Earlville; 14 grandchildren, Ashley (Brian) Jasper, Jessica (Taylor Ciha) Fitzpatrick, Emily (Seth) Readnour, Stacy (Ryan) Zitelman, Jacob (Tessa Bockenstedt) Fitzpatrick, Kari (Jason Diers) Fitzpatrick, Haley (fiancé Dalton Harbaugh) Fitzpatrick, Andy (Amanda) Oldfather, Kristy (fiancé Taylor Vanatter) Oldfather, Nick (Bailee) Oldfather, Austin Snyder, Ben Snyder, Hugh Clausen, and Vaughan Clausen; 13 great-grandchildren, Garrett, Joelle, Lucy, and Emmett Jasper, Owen Ciha, Isla, Ava, Ty, and Lainey Zitelman, Paisley Fitzpatrick, Parker, Payton, and Ethan Oldfather, and three greats on the way; brother, Jim (Diane) Hoeger of Earlville; sister-in-law, Pam Mann of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Edgewood, with Rev. John Haugen presiding.

Visitation: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.

Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Greeley, Iowa.
