Joan Weber 'Bobst'

Joan Weber "Bobst" passed away peacefully Dec. 26, 2020, at her home in Marion, Iowa, surrounded by family.
Joan was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Martelle, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Eva Bobst. She graduated from Martelle High School
in 1958.
She met the love of her life, Andy Weber, and was married Jan. 2, 1965. They had one son, Jason Weber, Feb. 19, 1970.
Joan was a beautician at Killian's and Von Maur for over 20 years. She was a very caring, beautiful person who loved to do things for her friends and family. Her two grandchildren, Madison and Jake Weber had a very special place in her heart.
She had years of suffering from multiple health issues, but always kept a sense of humor and a beautiful smile on her face.
She and her husband Andy enjoyed wintering in Texas and spending time with their friends and family. They vacationed in Minnesota throughout the years as well, with many snowmobile and fishing trips. She loved to garden and was an incredible cook.
Joan is survived by her husband, Andy; son, Jason; daughter-in-law, Marcie; and grandchildren, Madison and Jake Weber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eva Bobst; and her sisters, Connie Young, Dixie Ellison and Vivian Dauber.
A Celebration of Life is planned in the spring of 2021 for friends and family.
