JOAN LEE CHAPMAN MCCALL-DUNN

Joan Lee Chapman McCall-Dunn, 80, of Iowa City, died Dec. 9, 2015, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy from injuries suffered in a fall at her home.
Joan was born April 5, 1935, in Springfield, Ohio. She attended Wittenberg University and the University of Iowa. She worked at the UI for more than 28 years as a designer and senior designer for the university and as art director for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Samuel McCall of Ames, Steven Carl McCall of Pensacola, Fla., and Christopher Andrew McCall (Natilie) of Northumberland, Pa.; and grandsons, Joseph Mathew McCall and Quinton McCall.
Joan requested cremation of her remains. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at her home at 1106 Weeber St., Iowa City.
Donations can be made in memoriam of Joan to the UI Foundation, specifically to the UI Women's Intercollegiate Athletics program.
