She was preceded in death by her husband, Wynn Martz; grandson, Logan Martz; and significant other, Jerry Tauber.
Joan was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to John and Betty Larson. She married Winfield Martz on June 18, 1966. She retired from Rockwell Collins after 27 years, then worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District as a bus attendant, where she loved the children and her co-workers. She always will be remembered for her contagious laugh and smile, and her generosity to all! She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her group of friends, "The Gray Hairs."
A special thank-you to the Tauber Family for accepting her into their family, which she loved as dearly as her own.
