Joan Kay Goldsberry, 79, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A private graveside service will be held at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Joan was born March 27, 1944, the daughter of Edwin and Leola (Schult) Schlatter. On Dec. 16, 1963, Joan was united in marriage to Clifford D. Goldsberry in Kahoka, Mo. She worked as a secretary for the Cedar Rapids School District.
Survivors include her children, Robb (Trish) of Cedar Rapids and Krista (Catherine Fleming) of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Brittney (Sam), Haley (Christian) and Calvin; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Maggie; sister, Lois; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Cliff; parents, Edwin and Leola; brother, Duane; brother-in-law, Randolph Lehs; and sister-in-law, Wanda Schlatter.
