JOAN HOMIRE

Joan Carol Homire, 81, of Marengo, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at her home. Graveside memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Anderson Cemetery, Swisher, with Chad Kisner officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to Essence of Life Hospice of Amana.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Joan is survived by her children, Ronald (Nikki) Homire of Marengo, Pamela (Terry) Kisner of Camanche and Carol (John) Staudacher of Liberty, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Chad (Sarah) Kisner, Windy Lamp and Nathan Kisner, all of Clinton, Luke Staudacher of Blue Springs, Mo., Nick Staudacher of Liberty, Mo., Gage Kensler of Marengo, Josh Kensler of Wausau, Wis., and Hunter Homire of Marengo; four great-grandchildren, Teri Lamp, Tiffany Lamp, Olivia Kisner and Madeline Kisner, all of Clinton; and her sister, Jane Musel (Lyle) of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewald and Leila Henningsen Buch; a brother, Donald Buch; and a sister, Lorraine Lorenz.
