Joan Elizabeth Davis, 78, a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed from this world with her family at her side on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Joan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Steve; two boys, Todd (Mary) and Jason (Teresa); daughter-in-law, Angela Davis; grandmother of Alyssa, Erik, Taryn, Dakota, Sierra, Cassie, Becca and Beth; great-grandmother of Zayde, Ryker, Huxley, Nora, and five others; sister, Joyce (Jim); brother, Chris (Connie); and sister-in-law, Teresa (Rick). She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Nora Crisman; in-laws, Jack and Mary Davis; son, Mark Davis; sister, Carol Hanson; stepbrother, Jim Butler; and brother-in-law, Wayne Davis.
Joan retired in 2005 from Rockwell Collins after 25 years. Her biggest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Joan’s request, she will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oldorf Hospice House. Condolences may be submitted to the family at www.iowacremation.com under “Obituaries.”
