Jimmy Johnson, 42, of Vinton, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with Pastor Matt Hantz officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday. Private interment will be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; his children, Austin, Andy and Kayla Mae Johnson, all of Vinton; his two brothers, David (Linda) Johnson and Steven (Delicia) Johnson; his sister, Darbie (Kerry) Britt; and many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.
