Jim Timmer, 63, of Delhi, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Timmer of Delhi; his son, Jon (Jenny) Timmer of Delhi; his daughter, Amy (Joe) Hoffmann of Manchester; his three grandchildren, Trent Timmer, Cale Hoffmann and Livia Hoffmann; his father-in-law, Mahlon (Ruth) Wilson of Delhi; two sisters, Jane (Ryck) Mescher of Dyersville and Jeannie Schlichte of Florida; brother-in-law, Doug (Kris) Wilson of Delhi; sister-in-law, Ann (Dan) Wilson-Grant of Delhi; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Eileen Timmer; his mother-in-law, Nadine Wilson; and two brothers-in-law, Gary Schlichte and Mike Wilson.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi, by the Rev. John Kremer. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi, where there will be a 6:30 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call one hour before the Mass at the church on Monday. Interment: St. John's Cemetery, Delhi.
