Jim Corey, 62, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at
his home. Per Jim's wishes, there will be no services. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
Jim was born Oct. 16, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Frank and Shirley (Stephenson) Corey. He graduated from Jefferson High School 1978. On Dec. 3, 2016, Jim was united in marriage to Angela LeVan. He worked at Hy-Vee and retired in 2017. Jim loved to golf, hunt and go bowling.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Corey of Cedar Rapids; children, Jason (Maria) Corey of Cedar Rapids and Justin Corey of Waukee, Iowa; stepdaughters, Daliah LeVan and Elizabeth Kelly, both of Cedar Rapids; sister, Jo Corey of Cedar Rapids; and many grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Corey.
