Grinnell
Jewel W. Kintzinger, 84, of Grinnell, died peacefully on Nov. 29, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
A private family burial will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at United Church of Christ-Congregational in Grinnell, with the Rev. Cameron Barr officiating.
A Celebration of Life/"Santa Party" will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Jewel's lovely home in Grinnell.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grinnell-Newburg Dollars for Scholars/John and Jewel Kintzinger Scholarship Fund, the Mayflower Community, or St. Francis Manor.
