Jerry L. Knapp, 87, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, at Bickford Cottage in Marion. Memorial services will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with a visitation held one hour earlier, beginning at 10 a.m. at the chapel. Entombment will follow in the Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Jerry was born on April 15, 1931, to Roy and Frances Gragg Williamson in Kansas City, Mo. She married Kendall DeWitt and to this union three children were born. They later divorced but remained friends. She then was united in marriage to David E. Knapp. Jerry enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, cooking and celebrating Christmas.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Dawn) DeWitt, Karen Borseth (James) and Beth (Paul) Mahurin, all of Cedar Rapids; her brother, Hal (Donna) Williamson of Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents and husband, David.
