Jerome Koch, 91, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Strawberry Point. Scripture service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, Grace United Methodist Church, Lamont. Burial: St. Albert's Cemetery, Lamont. Visitation: 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Grace United Methodist Church and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Strawberry Point.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Kremer Koch of Lamont; six children, Jacquelin Fliehler, Mary Fransen, Linda Peters, Patti Schroeder, James Koch and John Koch; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Welter of Masonville; and one brother, LaVerne Koch of Aurora.
