Jerold Jensen, 81, of Lowden, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, with the Rev.
Stephen Stepp officiating. Burial: Dixon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; sons, Michael (Pamela) of Lowden, Bruce (Teresa) of Lowden and Thomas (Jennifer) of Clarence; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Brockmeyer of Lowden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey; sister, Anita Latre; brother, Dale Jensen; and stepgrandson, Dustin Gardner.
Jerold was born to August and Bernetta Nissen Jensen. He married Donna Siemsen on Nov. 26, 1955. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a farmer and retired from Land O'Lakes in Clarence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Lowden EMS or the Clarence Ambulance Service.
