Vernita Jennings, 92, of Arlington, entered her eternal kingdom Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Arlington, and for one hour before services Saturday at the church. Interment: Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington, Iowa.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Thompson Doyle of Magnolia, Texas, her son, William “Bill” Thompson (Jane) of Arlington; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by husbands, John Thompson and Max Jennings; and many other relatives.
