JENNIFER ELIZABETH PARK (HOSCH)
Cedar Rapids
Jennifer Elizabeth Park (Hosch) of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Nora Springs, took her place in heaven on Jan. 2, 2016.
Jennifer made her mark on the world on Aug. 30, 1979, born the first daughter of Scott Allen Park of Cedar Rapids and Patricia Ann Robuck (Baldwin) of Osage. Jennifer spent her early school years at Nora Springs-Rock Falls Community Schools and finished her high school career at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids. Jennifer was gifted with her hands and could make something very great out of something very little. She used her gifts to bless others with home cooked meals and hand crafted gifts that made you feel special. Jennifer had a compassionate heart for others in need and spent her time helping heal the brokenness of the world.
Nothing consumed and overflowed her heart with joy more than her four children. Her children kept her heart tethered to the world. Each of her children, possesses the best qualities of their mother. She had a fiery personality that left an impression on you. Her voice and her laugh were intoxicating and could fill a room quickly. Jennifer loved to laugh at her own jokes.
Jennifer loved her three sisters and prided herself on being the eldest. Family was the most important thing to her and everyone she connected with she considered her family.
Jennifer's memory will be honored by the surviving members of her family, parents, Scott Park and Patricia Baldwin; four children, Drake, Vanessa, Isabell and Alexandra; three sisters, Tiffany (Kyle) Mussman, Dannielle Grady, and Brooke Park; three uncles, Rodney (Sue) Park, Jerry Thele and Harold Duffy; aunt, Shellie (Rick) Simon; nephews, Ethan, Bentley and Carter; niece, Claire Elizabeth; cousin, Amy Hasley; her loving and compassionate former husband, Nick Hosch; and many other extended family and friends.
She was greeted in heaven by grandfathers, Bernie Robuck and Skip Thele; grandmothers, Elaine Robuck and Geraldine Thele; great-grandmother, Opal Kruse; and aunt, Jeannie Schnapel.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Rhythm Church in Mason City.
Memorials in care of the family may be sent to Tiffany Mussman, 807 N. Washington Ave, Mason City, IA 50401.
