Jeffrey Scott Hynek, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, 4-7 PM, at IBEW Local 405, 1211 Wiley Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Jamie Hynek; children, Hannah Jenkins, Hunter Hynek (Lauren) and Hailee Hynek; grandchildren, Elyza & Emelyn Jenkins and Heidy, Athena & Artemis Hynek; sister, Kris Hynek (Bobby); and parents, Mary Hynek and Bernard Hynek.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jason Hynek, and grandparents Adolph & Evelyn Hynek and Don & Frances Reed.
