Jeffrey "Jeff" T. Nolte, 52, of Davenport, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 27, 2014, at his home. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Concordia Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brad Brown. Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Warren Cemetery in Waverly. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Neva Stone; sisters, Jody (Larry) Lippmann and Judy (Jay) Hartman; stepson, David (Jade) Pennington; stepchildren, Mattie Pollmiller and Charlie Pollmiller; grandchildren, Kendall Pennington, Kaydence Pennington and Brandon Pollmiller; niece and nephew, Kenneth (Rachel) Hartman and Bethany (Ken) McClelland; and ex-wife, Becky Nolte.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; stepfather, Charles Stone; and his significant other, Tia Pollmiller.
Jeffrey Thomas was born May 9, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, to Gordon M. and Neva Thomas Nolte. He worked for many years as a carpet layer. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding snowmobiles and his
Harley.
