Jeffrey "Jeff Mac" Ford McGlashing, 49, of Cedar Rapids, died at home with loved ones by his side on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Family and friends will gather to remember Jeff from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his daughters, Crystal McGlashing and Jennifer McGlashing, both of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Vivian (Gary) Beatty of Atkins; his grandmother, W. Laureen Stark; four grandchildren; and his siblings, Wendy Britcher and Bob (Theresa) McGlashing, both of Cedar Rapids, and Matt (Lisa) McGlashing of St. Augustine, Fla.
Jeff was born April 16, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Dennis and Vivian (Stark) McGlashing. He spent most of his working career doing concrete and masonry work.
Jeff will be remembered for loving life and being an avid fan of the Chicago Bears.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis, and son, Steven.
