Jeff Carlson, 68, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, November 22, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on December 14, 2025, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids.
Jeff was born March 17, 1957, in Braham, Minnesota, the son of Francis and Donna (Strelow) Carlson. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1975 and went on to attend Kirkwood Community College. Jeff worked at the Wilson Avenue Hy-Vee as a teen and later began his career at General Mills in 1985, retiring in 2019. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and training his German Shorthairs as hunting dogs. Jeff passed his love for the outdoors down to his boys.
Survivors include his children, Garrett Carlson (Laura Urbian) of Fairfax, Iowa, and Wesley Carlson of Atkins, Iowa; granddaughter, Frances Carlson; father, Francis Carlson of Guttenberg, Iowa; siblings, Scott Carlson, Todd Carlson, JoDee (Lyle) Manning, and DeAnn Carlson, all of Cedar Rapids; and two nieces, Nicole Bode of Fairfax, and Sierra Manning of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
