Cascade
Jeannette E. Knuth, 83, of Cascade, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade. Friends and relatives of Jeannette may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Services for Jeannette will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 26, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Knuth of Cascade; one daughter, Mary (Paul) Thompson of Sherrill; one son, Mark (Cathy) Knuth of Cascade; seven grandchildren, Aaron Thompson, Jeannette Christensen, Laura Thompson, Amanda Schlemme, Ryan Knuth, Kayla Thompson and Eric Knuth; 13 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Wanita (Mic) Sheldon of Lost Nation, Dorothy Eggert of Wyoming, Iowa, Irma Neiber of Elwood and Connie Nissen of Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles "Chic" Waters and Eddie Waters; and two sisters, Dona Stender and Sandra McCombs.
