Jeanne M. Burns, 96, of Marion, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Willow Gardens Care Center.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Willow Gardens Care Center.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you share your stories and memories. Donations may be made in Jeanette's name to the Willow Gardens Activity Fund.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Sanderson and Robert Burns; sister, Helen Heckman; granddaughter, Jennifer Rasmussen; and great-grandchildren, IsaBella and Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril M. Burns; brothers, Jack Long and Paul Long; and parents.
The lives of her family, friends and students will forever be richer for knowing her. She will be greatly missed, but welcomed joyfully by those who have arrived before her.
