High Amana
Jeanne M. Brown, 83, of High Amana, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at First Lutheran Church, rural Conroy, with the Rev. Don Dovre officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Earl; three children, Dixie Hildenbrand (Michael) of Oskaloosa, Randy Brown of Williamsburg and Shelly Schumacher (Mark) of Amana; nine grand-children; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Errol and Marie Nelson Sykes; and three brothers, Merrill, Chuck and Francis Sykes.
